I'll guess that the outer ones are powdercoats, and the inner ones are some exotic wood plus... Brass? Standard copper Minimags?

The outside ones are hot pink powdercoat. Next in are Koa on a copper mini-mag, the center is Mango on a copper mini. I get the wood from a woodworker in Hawaii.

I just realized that I have five Minimags and ten Mags. Only one, an old blue Minimag, was a gift.

There's a lot more you can do to Mags than to Minimags, mostly because there's more room. Unfortunately, the biggest tool in my "workshop" (a.k.a. our backyard) is an abrasive chop saw from Harbor Freight, so I can't do any really nice machining like will does (not to mention the skill and experience required  ).

Welcome to the forums, kd!
